Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
who-blocked.me (“we”, “our”, or “the site”) provides educational information and a browser-based helper for understanding whether a social profile appears available to your logged-in session. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the site.
1. Information we process
Profile analysis runs locally in your browser through the official Chrome extension and your existing social-network session. We do not ask for your social-network password, and we are not designed to upload passwords, 2FA codes, or cookie dumps to our servers for login impersonation.
Like most websites, our servers or hosting provider may automatically receive standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps in server logs for security and reliability.
2. Cookies and Google AdSense
This site uses cookies. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
We may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services to support free operation of the site. Those partners may collect or receive information about your visits to this and other websites and use that information to provide advertising about goods and services that may interest you.
3. Local storage
The site may store a language preference (for example, ibc_lang) in your browser’s local storage
so that your selected language can persist between visits.
4. Third-party links and brands
who-blocked.me is an independent project and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms or any social network brand. Links to Chrome Web Store pages, social networks, or advertising partners are governed by those parties’ own policies.
5. Children’s privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
